Still waiting

Still waiting.  We might be in the next set of referrals for baby's.  One website averages the referral times to estimate when the next set will be announced.  It could be anywhere from now till the first week in February.  We have our fingers crossed.  The only good part now about waiting a little longer is that the weather may be warmer.
Currently the weather at our arrival would be similiar to Wisconsin weather.  The bad part would be that we would have to bring warmer clothes.  Warmer clothes mean heavier clothes.  When you can only bring 45 pounds a person that would make it very difficult.

Camcorder ordered

Ordererd the camcorder.  When its in I'll have to try to download some video to utube.

I171H

Well we got are I171H today.  Just another step out of the way.  Now we just wait for our referral.  They will call us on the phone, send us a photo and some very basic info to include a medical exam document.

As part of the process we had to update our info.  We had to get re-fingerprinted at INS and have everything updated to include our homestudy.  Everything was sent in and about two weeks later they sent a letter back saying it wasn't complete.  We then had to send it back to our home study office in Milwaukee.  They changed it and we sent it back in.  Now we are waiting and hoping we get it soon.  We need it to go to China.


We are getting close!

Still checking on whether this blog will work in China or not.  Some people on a forum are saying to make sure by using a VPN.  Don't know....  Friend said to try WordPress.

Blogspot

If blogspot doesn't work in China someone at work said I should try "WordPress".  He opened his blogspot and it looks very similar.  Hate switching if this is going to work.

Google in China

We follow some forums for people adopting from China.  Some people say that when they went they used blogspot just fine.  Others say they could never get to it.  I wish I new for sure if I can even use this blog.  It would really stink if we got there and it didn't work. 

Marn,  if you communicate with Dave while he is there ask him to go to this blog and see if you can get to it.  I'm going to keep on looking.

If anyone else finds out let me know.  If this isn't going to work I'll have to find a new spot

Fish at the top

How do you like the fish at the top.  They follow your mouse pointer arounnd.  Still some gliches but am figuring things out.

Think I got it

Think I have most of it figured out now.  I have it set at private so right now you are the only one to see it.  Did you have to sign up or do anything?  Just wondering because I will have to tell others what they have to do.  I can post photo's and supposidly videos.  I heard from other people adopting that this is what they use.  I then heard that some people couldn't access it in China and thought it may be censored.  We want to kind of do a diary so instead of explaining it a million times we can type it and you can ask questions on the blog.  Try to post some comments or do a new post and let me know if it works.  I'm only gonna invite our family and maybe one of Cindy's friends.  Hopefully this will fill some downtime in China.  Sounds like we will be busy but we will try to post as often as we can.  Any questions about how to use it?  You'll have to see if you can post photo's too.

Another test

Need to figure out how to add photo's.  This is getting to be a little more difficult than I thought.  The only people that can see this are the ones who I have by email address.
