Average day of traffic in Jiangxi

I will attach a video of the traffic viewed from our room in Jiangxi.  They believe in the horn honking in China.  The horns were honking 24/7 and we still don't know what there is to honk about at 3am but they found reasons to honk.  Just click on the photo above to start the video.

Bath in the kitchen sink

The kitchen sink was more size appropriate for her baths.  She seems to enjoy a nice bath.

Here is a video a few days after Adriana joined our family

Click here!        Just click where it says "click here" for a short video from the hotel a few days after Adriana joined our family.

First Doctor Appointment

Adriana had her first doctor appointment last Thursday, June 2.  The doctor is very, very nice and Adriana didn't cry once.  At 10 months old, she is 16.13 pounds and 28 3/4 inches in length.  According to the American baby charts, she is in the 8 percentile in weight and 72 percentile in height.  So she is low in weight and tall for her age, long and lean.  We thought it was funny that she was low in weight since she has such a huge belly and it keeps growing each day with all the good food we are feeding her.  She is starting to each some meat and loved the fresh asparagus Dan made for her.  She also likes scrambled eggs, mixed fruits, carrots, and cheerios.  The doctor didn't give her any shots and will do that at her next appointment at the end of June.  The doctor said she was too good to give her any shots at this appointment.  Dan is still fighting a bad cold.  It's now been a week and a half of him at less than 100%.  Hopefully he starts feeling better soon.  Adriana got to go to Menards and Wal-Mart yesterday.  She was great and we made sure that they were short trips.  We couldn't be happier with her and she seems pretty darn happy with us.

Amazing architecture

Some of the different Temples were amazing.  They look like they take years to build.  They seem to be very old but are kept up with constant maintenance that we saw.

Everything is going great

Adriana has adjusted well.  She is now on a very good sleeping schedule.  She goes to bed at night around 8pm and wakes around 6am.  She takes two naps a day.

Adriana has learned to clap and feed herself cheerios.  She has been very active.  We spent some time on the deck last night taking in the sites.

I still haven't had a chance to post some video.  We have been busy trying to get reorganized and get ourselves on a schedule.  All three of us may be taking a shopping trip to Menard's this afternoon if all goes well.
